End of Vellapanti.. Ouch!!
The 2-month blessed vacation is almost over today and I left no chance to spend it in sheer vellapanti. I remember my senior asked me at orkut “so wat r u doin these days??” to which I replied “I was doing NOTHING” yesss, the word nothing typed in caps as if it was such a great task to perform! N when he again asked “tell me plz how to do NOTHING......... I have never done it earlier” I replied most shamelessly that “doing NOTHING is actually not everybody's cup of tea..its very difficult..only great persons can do it like me ;)”
Its okay u r into phd n all..i am still a student of lesser grade than you who gets holidays n can spend time in vellapanti..huh!! may be grapes-are-sour for you ;)
But when I think back I guess it wasn’t difficult either..one can spend daysss being vella until that vellaness reaches peakness to kick you out from your house as it did to me. I behaved variously in these 2-months..sometimes thinking too much sometimes nothing at all.as it is said “excess of everything is bad” ..proved right.
In these velle days, I ate, slept, jumped, ran, laughed, cried :P, t.v, movies (only2), read, wrote…etc etc..but Godji, please next time (if at all) I get such ample holidays keep something for me to do in b/w.
Somebody was sending guinea souls in heaven, somebody was dissecting calotes, somebody busy in end sem exams, somebody busy in meter-testing,somebody in summer- training, swimming, visiting hometown…etc etc..
But fine..it wasn’t bad either here ..i have been doing THINGS too..such as..a…well…yea,running (I think this was some constructive thing from my part)…lazing around…started blogging too..having breakfast-cum-lunch…watching every possible crapiest channel on T.V ..ah!!! FOR EXAMPLE -> INDIA tv… needs some mention now..
INDIA t.v :::::I never thought I would give this importance to you that I be possibly writing for you..but u made me vomit my frustration now!! This one is the CRAPIEST,DUMBEST of channel I have come across so far..matlab ki ,How can you guys broadcast such useless news?? A man flying by his own, alien seen at smbdy’s bedroom,an angrez resembling Lord Krishna,a boy taking out fresh green leaves outta his ears… man..wtf! I m not interested n nobody is! Useless fellows! Useless news! Loosers! Unfortunately the channel is placed such that I HAVE to go past it for other channels otherwise…..leave it!!
I myself am surprised that hvnt met mona, amita, neetika all these holidays, Amy wasnt here though rest could have met, but for reasons well known (to me n mona)…guess whenever we’d meet next ..it ‘ll be a blast as ever.
Anyways.. I simply enjoyed the holi-days! Dunno when I’ll be doing all these insane things next! Yesterday only I was constantly smiling for no reasons..naa..m not retarted by any means..silly me!!okay okay..enuf!!
Chal, its already too much a crap..kal se again classes, pracs, long hours commuting (sickk),less hours sleeping, frens, but lots of activities :)
Right now listening to the track ‘city of blinding lights’ ..driving me crazy..:P
The end!

DOWN-TO-EARTH..
Its been a hesitant start to the summer, first those rains (gave me blues), then soaring temperatures, boring sultry holidays AND a wait that was only getting longer…
There’s nothing better than snatching a little relaxation time from life’s hectic schedule & getting that little bit close-to-nature. Although ,in my case I had as such no “busy” schedule coz I was doing poor in those goddam holidays, squandering time, trying to make that obstacle succumb on 22nd june and scurried that very evening to a lovely place.
Sometimes life doesn’t go the way you want it & sometimes it goes you never thought of it like before.. Plans planned at random really works (atleast for me)..
After talking no. of times on phone..located him(bro) at station as I was coming directly from the exam center . boarded train at 7:25pm, bidding adieu to friends..i let myself explore the new world..
Next morning I was home.Soon I realized I am away, away from a maddening city bustling always..providing a brief relief to those deft fingers maneuvering left-right,up-down arrows on the keyboard..a break to my lungs which m sure must have got pissed-off inhaling daily polluted air..a break to my eyes which must have got habitual of only seeing the fruits of technology everywhere..n then sensing those large inquisitive eyes at me eager to find out who the new guest was, minutes later I was at ease with my little cute cousins..Garima,Nitin(Mr. Default), Amit,Rahul,Kavi(shy girl),Jhanvi,Utkarsh,Nisha,Nidhi..love you guys!
It was warm but pleasantly sunny, while it was peaceful too..pure and fresh air, unsophisticated lifestyle, greenery all around(this greenery was different from one that is here..this seems so out-of-reach here..as if planted only to look n appraise..but there I cud actually feel it,), Neem,Lemon,Mango,Jamun tree(Sygium cumini OR Myrtus cumini OR Eugenia jambolanum) :P whatever..view was just riveting to eyes.
I used to wake up just at the crack of dawn (almost 5 or so) [nvr done that here except on exam days] n sleeping as early as 10:00pm..hmm..i refuse all that comfort [not permanently;)] that I get here than lying supined on bed on the terrace adoring millions of brrrightly shining stars..(sometimes even foolishly trying count ‘em) I don’t find such stars here :(
Ambling across fields (farms) touching leaves of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) :P , casting pebbles at Mango tree sometimes even plucking one while getting on it.. simply soothing to mind!
it rained once there.. i never kind of enjoyed “rain” due to following reasons:
a) may be coz I have this phobia of the aftermaths of rain on clothes, n that weird feeling when you are drenched in water;
b) OR may be; out of romanticism that people when in "love" enjoy being in rain..phew!
c) OR shayad coz there is so much air pollution here so probably was worried of the effect of rain+ HNO3 + H2SO4 + other harmful pollutants that may come down along with rain on the skin..
d) Miscelleaneous ;)
BUT I had a great experience being in open while its raining n I ll consider trying it again here (probably)
I thank my uncle for sharing such beautiful yet knowledgeable incidences of life, facts behind Ram mandir dispute, about mumtaz’s tomb, hybrid seeds n many more..i thank my bro without whom I would have not been able to write all this had he not made that random plan to go there.
But most important n exciting was the presence of HIM. He, who won my heart. I now truly believe how one could fall in love- at- first- sight. His spiky hairs, that lean but healthy body, occasionally giving me those killing looks..ah! take me back!! His every move made my heart beat faster n louder, just felt like cuddling everytime I saw him . He was a "baby buffalo" :P you \m/
I was all stultified here when those 7 days suffused into my life. I find myself lucky to have it.Cops dint allow me to enter the premises due to security reasons but shall visit next time the ram-janam-bhoomi :) I am back in the bustling city n all rejuvenated. Ready to work hard n party harder ;) amen!!

CRICKET -revived!!
It’s a game which makes normally composed people loose their cool, already fanatics go high, adult to get converted into children n even vice-versa ;)
Even girls seems to enjoy it, more so is the trend with some aunty’s in my neighbourhood. But with the advent of IPL(Indian Premier League), it has got to another level, turned more glitzy and glamorous (thanks to cheerleaders!)
Earlier, As a purists thought it would be like ‘degradation of quality of cricket’ and that it would turn out as a flop plan..but with time I let myself go with the flow..
IPL- is loud, brash n insanely popular!
Exciting is the presence of bollywood icons, bhangra kings, and of course the cheerleaders..there has been some controversies related to cheerleaders, n I got to listen in some news channel that some Hindu activist & some women groups are planning to stage a protest against cheerle... as they believe “damages Indian culture & tradition”..haha..well will somebody ask them why don’t they go to protest against bollywood music videos or may be Rakhi Sawant’s explicit videos?..as it is equally vulgar too..
Once I heard Neha Dhupia(on T.V) saying that “in India only SRK n sex sells” but it seems here even the King himself has realized that nothing sells better than cricket in India.
If its good, there is bitter side to it too..e.g our bhajjiiii always in some controversy or other..everyone knows about the slapgate thingy..i guess cricket as once considered a gentlemen game would no longer hold true..as the trend is changing and getting ugly, uglier….
I really don’t care about other teams ( save Sachin’s team-my favvvourite, and shahrukh’s- coz he’s umm…hehe) BUT Delhi Daredevils (DD), I really support them. Although not used to like Sehwag coz of his repeated poor performances especially after he got married save some rare occasions when he surprisingly came out breaking recccords..but now no option but to buck him up!
Anyways..DD’s managed to enter semis somehow n there was this match to get into finals b/w DD’s & RR’s (Rajasthan Royals). I was all set for THE day of semis. I rilly had no prejudices about the past performance of RR’s ,therefore took ‘em lightly thinking of their spooky name (some royals-of –rajasthan ),Delhi will bully them easily..but as it is rightly being said that “Never underestimate your enemy” I did the same..damnnn!!
RR’s batted first n made a whopping 192.then came the real time..n heck!! All our wickets went on falling like anything..frigging situation..that I just switched off my television set before seeing the plight of my team to end..even Mcgrath dint do anything great but let the opponent hit 4’s n 6’s..duh! DD lost it!
But to my amuse, the very next day KXIP also lost to Chennai Superkings..hehe..pata nahi (dont know)..but they look like rivals to me..hehehe.. ;)
Now, as IPL is over all saas-bahu drama can revive themselves with some of TRP’s, kids can once again grab the TV remote for their fav. cartoon shows at dinner as once totally monopolized by their IPL frenzy brother’s n father. but I m sure IPL addicts are gonna get blues every 8 in the evening..hope they just come out of IPL hangover..
In the end,if the IPL fever has taught us anything is that fans will love any player ,no matter what his race, religion or nationality is as long as he plays well..

A ride in Metro..
I must first admit that Delhi govt. has done a commendable job in launching this service for its people. It has become like a lifeline to thousands of people like me, office goers, college students, general public.
But, today it will be different, as I am not at all going to share good things about it rather some weird unsaid facts.. (hehe)
Journey starts at the checking counter where one get to see typical khaki-uniform clad men and women (rather woman) oh..did I mention they are policemen..i call ‘em aunty and uncle’s..
Aunty asks me to get my bag checked all over again n again till the moment she gets satisfied by her quest that I really don’t possess any of the unlikely things..i rem one day how she got upto checking even my lunch-box..uff..that was the height!!
Then comes the most irritating job..SCANNING the human body (manually)..i find it totally not-to-be-done-at-any-cost thing especially for a person like me who is tickling-sensitive
(God bless me n others who shares this common problem)..i am always laughing after the checking session n then she always passes me an idiotic smile..but cant help it ( I should CO-operate)
After all that harrowing act, you manage to enter the train somehow when “Seat-grabbers” comes into action.
[CAUTION: they are mostly aunty n uncles in their mid 40’s and BEWARE ..they can hit you anywhere]
People will try all the possible tricks on earth to get a seat, especiall at Rajiv Chowk(the most crowded station)
Then, we have those with all sorts of phobias, right from the escalators to the fear of the metro doors closing on them, to the token machine closing on their sides. These people not only make you miserable but demand that you be understanding about it!!
Another species of Metro monsters are those who will stand at the doors in order to run as soon as the train halts so as to place themselves first on the escalators as if they are somewhere in a marathon!! :D
Aunty’s make a great story too..i mean they will come with their boisterious kids n will let them do whatever they want to..they may run over your shoes, will jump, run throughout the train, they can even hang themselves swaying like idiots boasting of doing like this in America..non-sense!! But God forbid, I pray no one sits with any of aunty because if you happens to be sitting with one of them..they will try to pass their time by generally asking “in which college are you beta”..what course you are pursuing..n then there’s no ending..they ‘ll come down to family level..
Sometimes when u are really not interested n just want to have a nap during your ride, a mobile ring tone will u wake u up ..she will spill the entire gossip of her neighbour over the compartment!
Adding to the agony, are the ongoing never-ending announcements, okay I agreed, it is important but it rilly piss you off sometimes especially during long ride. they will warn you against pick-pockets,not eating drinking aboard….........
Its not over yet, I rem how once I got to listen the world’s most awful ringtone..a 30-something bhaiya was standing n I was half-asleep when I suddenly woke up to this horrible ringtone(prolly loudest of all I heard in my 21 yrs) of some folk-song( I dont rem the song).
Whatever, Metro is a boon to the public transport in Delhi. This was just the other side of coin OTHERWISE its fun to be going in it! Yea.
Enjoy the ride!!!
Hehe ;)

NO SUBJECT!!
I have all the time in the world now-a-days..
Its been Raining here ..
But this summer tis different..yes it is
First,it is untimely
Second..i can see myself connecting chords to it
Dun know, hours pass by watching these tiny tiny droplets
Droplets of rain meeting their end on my hands..
At the same time,my heart sinks deep down deep
Feeling of guilt surmounting all o’er me
Have /Had I done something wrong??
I wish I had the gumption to act that day
When I ended so bizarre
I went into total turmoil to think anywhichway
I should have ended all that in a more pragmatic way
I am an ordinary soul
Just trying to find my place under the sun
But it hurts when I am mistaken as a heartless soul
Perhaps,I need some time to find some ways..
I guess You’ll not understand..

MORNING (and) WALK!!
8:30am : I was in 20th min of my run when I located Sonu 15 metres away. O crap!!
Now, Sonu needs mention..he’s the guy I taught Maths in 8th std..
[Flashback:::: I would have never taken him,if his mother[my AUNT] had not requested me.I taught that CACTUS, algebra, linear equations, geometry etc.. n i rem one day how we ACTUALLY fought..it all started as a joke n we end up kicking each other when my mom came to his rescue..i could have finished that bastard right then..but modesty..huh!!]
I hate him since then..but now he seems to be okay..i too have mellowed down on him…I think tis being human.i noticed his kinda muscular, adolescent body, thin line of moustache n beard.,voice pitched li’l higher this time than 4 yrs back..boys rilly get matured soon. He’s in 12th now..
