As long as it gets
As hard it can test
As good as it seems
As bad sometimes it reveals..

i'll keep striding..

As dark it may seem
As lighter it could have its regime
As difficult it might turn
As challanging it may be in return

I'll keep striding...

(FOR my goal)
n shall come out with flying colors..

CRICKET -revived!!

Cricket in India is indubitably the most popular sport, yet not the nation’s national sport.
It’s a game which makes normally composed people loose their cool, already fanatics go high, adult to get converted into children n even vice-versa ;)
Even girls seems to enjoy it, more so is the trend with some aunty’s in my neighbourhood. But with the advent of IPL(Indian Premier League), it has got to another level, turned more glitzy and glamorous (thanks to cheerleaders!)

Earlier, As a purists thought it would be like ‘degradation of quality of cricket’ and that it would turn out as a flop plan..but with time I let myself go with the flow..

IPL- is loud, brash n insanely popular!
Exciting is the presence of bollywood icons, bhangra kings, and of course the cheerleaders..there has been some controversies related to cheerleaders, n I got to listen in some news channel that some Hindu activist & some women groups are planning to stage a protest against cheerle... as they believe “damages Indian culture & tradition”..haha..well will somebody ask them why don’t they go to protest against bollywood music videos or may be Rakhi Sawant’s explicit videos?..as it is equally vulgar too..

Once I heard Neha Dhupia(on T.V) saying that “in India only SRK n sex sells” but it seems here even the King himself has realized that nothing sells better than cricket in India.

If its good, there is bitter side to it too..e.g our bhajjiiii always in some controversy or other..everyone knows about the slapgate thingy..i guess cricket as once considered a gentlemen game would no longer hold true..as the trend is changing and getting ugly, uglier….

I really don’t care about other teams ( save Sachin’s team-my favvvourite, and shahrukh’s- coz he’s umm…hehe) BUT Delhi Daredevils (DD), I really support them. Although not used to like Sehwag coz of his repeated poor performances especially after he got married save some rare occasions when he surprisingly came out breaking recccords..but now no option but to buck him up!

Anyways..DD’s managed to enter semis somehow n there was this match to get into finals b/w DD’s & RR’s (Rajasthan Royals). I was all set for THE day of semis. I rilly had no prejudices about the past performance of RR’s ,therefore took ‘em lightly thinking of their spooky name (some royals-of –rajasthan ),Delhi will bully them easily..but as it is rightly being said that “Never underestimate your enemy” I did the same..damnnn!!

RR’s batted first n made a whopping 192.then came the real time..n heck!! All our wickets went on falling like anything..frigging situation..that I just switched off my television set before seeing the plight of my team to end..even Mcgrath dint do anything great but let the opponent hit 4’s n 6’s..duh! DD lost it!

But to my amuse, the very next day KXIP also lost to Chennai Superkings..hehe..pata nahi (dont know)..but they look like rivals to me..hehehe.. ;)

Now, as IPL is over all saas-bahu drama can revive themselves with some of TRP’s, kids can once again grab the TV remote for their fav. cartoon shows at dinner as once totally monopolized by their IPL frenzy brother’s n father. but I m sure IPL addicts are gonna get blues every 8 in the evening..hope they just come out of IPL hangover..

In the end,if the IPL fever has taught us anything is that fans will love any player ,no matter what his race, religion or nationality is as long as he plays well..
